While students are away from school, four teachers privately reorganise their futures on a board - shifting photographs up and down in a quiet act of administrative judgment.

About Us

Founded by screenwriter, actor, and director Chaska May,

Split Grey Productions develops psychologically grounded stories and characters that exist within the grey area, exploring identity, power, and the spaces between belonging and exclusion.

We are drawn to those who live on the periphery - not easily placed within all aspects of society through the institutions that shape, distort, and define them.

Our work blends realism with stylised visual language, creating stories that are intimate, disruptive, and quietly explosive.
